Workshop on Cyber Crime
Technology has given us great boons like computers, smartphones and internet which has made communication faster and easier, but with it has brought hacking, phishing, etc. challenging privacy and safety of users.
On 21st June, 2019, the School invited Dr. Deepti Lele, Trainer and Law consultant on Cyber Crime, a Ph.D in Human Resources to talk to students of Std. VII to X about Digital India and the safety measures that are a must when online, be it on social media like facebook, twitter, instagram, etc or shopping or just plan surfing.
Two interactive and intense sessions, of 2 two hours each with audio-visuals and question-answer sessions for a total of 132 students to explain the advantages and pitfalls of technology. Dr. Lele also explained the remedials available in case of any such breach of privacy or fraud.
